I am an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Division of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics, Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. I received my Ph.D. in Information Systems & Analytics from National University of Singapore in 2019.
My research interests include open innovation commuinity, especially crowdsourcing and open source software community, the economics of online crowdfunding platforms, and the digital transformation of distruptive technologies. My current research is to understand the digital transformation through online communities, digital platforms and aritifical intelligence. Specifically, my research projects intend to investigate: 1) open innovation process in online groups 2) governance in open source software projects 3) design mechanism in crowdfunding platform 4) implications of emerging technologies. I use econometric method in my research as well as machine learning techniques. My works have been published at leading journals, including Information Systems Research, Production and Operations Management, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
