I am an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Division of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics, Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. I received my Ph.D. in Information Systems & Analytics from National University of Singapore in 2019.

My research interests include open innovation commuinity, especially crowdsourcing and open source software community, the economics of online crowdfunding platforms, and the digital transformation of artifical intelligence. My current research is to understand the digital transformation through online communities, digital platforms and aritifical intelligence. Specifically, my research projects intend to investigate: 1) open collaboration process in online groups 2) governance in open source software projects 3) design mechanism in crowdfunding platform 4) implications of AI-generated content. I use econometric method in my research as well as machine learning techniques. My works have been published at leading journals including the Information Systems Research and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.

About My Life

I am an amateur of Go (a guide to play Go). I started to learn and play Go when I was seven. I also enjoy reading books, especially business book, history monograph and detective fiction. I also like a lot of technological stuff such as game programming and IT products (e.g., Raspberry Pi).
